ASHI Emergency Oxygen:

The ASHI Emergency Oxygen course focuses on administering oxygen in breathing and non-breathing emergencies, including oxygen delivery systems and pulse oximetry integration. It's designed for workplace emergency response teams, dental offices, or medical clinics. The course covers topics like recognizing breathing emergencies, safety precautions, and equipment assembly.   This is a two hour class with two year certification.

ASHI Child and Babysitting Course

The HSI Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) program gives teenagers and young adults everything they need to know for safe and successful babysitting. HSI CABS teaches how to start a babysitting business, interact with parents and children, and provides important safety and first aid information using the latest 2020 guidelines.  The course is typically meant for students ages 11-16, and lasts about four hours.

ASHI Wilderness First Aid

Wilderness environments create special situations not usually encountered in an urban or suburban environment. With the Wilderness First Aid class, first aid providers in a remote outdoor setting will be better prepared to respond with wilderness first aid training when faced with limited resources, longer times to care for someone, and decisions about when and how fast to evacuate an ill or injured person.

This comprehensive 16-hour wilderness first aid course meets or exceeds the Boy Scouts of America Wilderness First Aid Curriculum and Doctrine Guidelines, 2017 Edition.  This course includes Information-filled slide presentation covering wilderness and remote first aid from a basic understanding of emergency response in an outdoor setting to specific techniques and considerations for a wide range of injuries and illnesses.  This is a 16 hour course and will require Certification in CPR before course completion.  A minimum of 10 students is needed for this class, with a maximum of 30 students.  Course costs may fluctuate based on scheduling.  The textbook and certification is required and is included in the student cost.

ASHI Advanced First Aid

The ASHI Advanced First Aid course is designed for the person who needs or desires more first aid training than Basic First Aid, but not to the level of Emergency Medical Response. Perfect for corporate emergency response teams, this 17-21 hour Advanced First Aid certification course presents many of the most common illnesses and injuries responders are likely to encounter.  This course is a three day course and will include CPR.  The textbook is required and included in the student price.  A minimum of ten and maximum of 20 is allowed for this program.  Corporate teams may discuss corporate rates.

 

ASHI Emergency Medical Responder

The ASHI Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) course is designed to train individuals in emergency medical response, providing a level of training comparable to a professional EMR, but without the licensing or credentialing requirements within a state's EMS system

This course is geared towards non-EMS responders like those in law enforcement, government, or corporate settings. It prepares individuals to provide immediate care to critically ill or injured patients, while awaiting the arrival of more advanced medical personnel.The class typically lasts 60-72 hours, and those looking for EMR EMS Certification may take this program and challenge the National Registry Exam.  The course requires CPR Inclusion.  Course costs will be discussed with agencies interested based on scheduling and requirements.  At least 6 students are required with a maximum of 24.  The course requires a textbook, which can be included in the price and offered as a printed or electronic copy.
